Duties
DEEWR has a particular focus on Closing the Gap in Indigenous disadvantage, and works across a range of jurisdictions to improve policy, programs, services and outcomes for Indigenous Australians.
The South Australian State Office employs around 150 staff in its commitment to facilitating the Australian Government\'s productivity and participation agenda
and is seeking a highly motivated, positive and energetic person to work in a dynamic and changing environment, responding to evolving Government policy.
This environment requires people who are confident, can think on their feet and achieve results within prescribed timeframes. The applicant must also be able to develop and implement plans including the identification and management of risk in planning, priority setting and decision making.

socially inclusive society.
Contribute to the achievement of Departmental objectives through a range of work, including:
• Program and policy implementation;
• Liaison with relevant Government and non-Government
agencies,industry bodies and other stakeholders; and
• High-level written correspondence.
Applicants must demonstrate the willingness and flexibility to apply their skills as required and should be motivated by personal and organisational improvement.
Eligibility
A current driver’s licence is essential as this position may involve regular intrastate travel in order to visit providers. Some interstate travel may also be required.
