Catering for local students across the country, this schools organisation offers teachers looking to experience living and teaching in another culture an exciting opportunity to experience Singapore.
A true teacher is always looking to continue to learn themselves, this opportunity will be one that will give you invaluable experience and allow you to implement your expertise in a new setting, achieving excellent standards in secondary education.
We are currently looking for English literature Teachers for high school who are interested in living and working in Singapore. These positions are full time and will commence across 2010. To be successful in gaining a position you must have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience, hold your teaching and undergraduate degree in this subject area and have a strong knowledge of teaching pedagogy.
The package on offer includes free air passage to and from, baggage allowances, temporary lodging upon arrival in Singapore, an optional interest free loan to allow settling in, education provided free for up to 2 children, bonus provided at end of contract, very low tax rate.
Successful candidates will be allocated an induction mentor to assist in settling in. Contracts will initially be for 1 year with an optional 2 year extension. Salaries on offer are dependant upon experience and range upwards from $2800 SD per month. Accommodation is not provided within the package but rather is included in salary calculations. Assistance in selection of accommodation is provided by your induction mentor.
