Coordinator Waitara area
- 60 children per day

This centre provides before and after school care during school terms as well as vacation care in school holida ys. It currently caters for 30 children aged 5-12 years of age.
The OOSH Coordinator will be responsible for the management of staff, developing, implementing and evaluating appropriate and engaging programs, building relationships with families and ensuring that all relevant regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to. The coordinator will be assisted by a supportive management committee.
To be eligible for this role you will need to;
- Hold a completed and recognised Educational qualification (for example Diploma of Children’s Services,
Bachelor of Education or Social Sciences or equivalent)
- Have recent experience managing an early childhood service
- Have highly developed communication skills, and the ability to positively manage staff and children
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of relevant policies and current legislation
- Understanding of OH & S requirements and child protection issues
- A current first aid or willingness to obtain one
